A Must See Attraction In Oman | The Deepest Natural Pool In The World | Bimmah Sinkhole | Oman Vlog
Bimmah Sinkhole, also known as Hawiyat Najm, is one of Oman’s most stunning natural attractions. This large limestone depression filled with crystal-clear turquoise water is located in the Dabab village, part of the Muscat Governorate, about 120 kilometers from Muscat, the capital city. The sinkhole is a favorite spot for tourists and locals, offering swimming, picnicking, and photography opportunities.
Local Legends
According to local folklore, a meteorite created the sinkhole, which is reflected in its Arabic name, "Hawiyat Najm," meaning "The Falling Star."
